Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure™
The Way of the Compassionate Spirit

Jin Shin Do® (JSD) is a form of acupressure used to encourage harmony and balance between physical, mental,
emotional and spiritual energy. Its used for pain reduction, enhanced healing, immune system stimulation and
emotional freedom. JSD interacts with meridians promoting physical well-being and facilitating inner exploration.
Barriers and patterns often experienced as pain and limitation can be contacted, released and rebalanced.  JSD is
an effective tool to promote physical healing, bodymind integration and emotional and spiritual growth.

“I have been in the field of energetic bodywork and massage therapy for more than 25 years.  Jin Shin Do is the
most effective technique I use.  It helps reduce pain and improve physical well-being when other modalities are
ineffective. In addition it opens the door for true bodymind connection.”
Synthia Andrews, ND

Jin Shin Do® is a usable technique from the very first course.  Created by Iona Marsaa Teeguarden, JSD is
designed to be immediately accessible and health promoting.  For many, the basic course provides enough
information to augment their existing practice or assist family members.  Others seek certification in the Jin Shin
Do® Bodymind Acupressure™  method.  Certification is obtained through a series of three modules with several
courses in each one. The total certification program is 500 hours.  Some course work can be transferred from
other programs.

The first two classes in Module One are taught by here at AHAC by Synthia Andrews.  If enough people want to
become certified, advanced teachers are brought in to teach the additional courses.
