Sessions
I am currently accepting new clients for naturopathic medicine. Initial session and evaluations
are scheduled for an hour and 15 minutes. It includes a thorough medical history and may
include a physical exam and ordering of labs. Follow up sessions are usually half an hour but
can be longer if they include physical medicine treatments.
Office Hours
By appointment Monday, Wednesday-Saturday. No Tuesday hours.
Cancellation Policy or Missed Appointments
Payment will be required with less than 24 hour notice except in emergency or illness. The
same is true for me: if I miss an appointment with you, I’ll give you your next session free except
in the case of emergency or illness.
Lateness
Please call if you’re running late. Since most people have cell phones, I’ll only wait 15 minutes
before assuming it’s a missed appointment. When you do arrive late I’ll do my best to add extra
time on to your session but will not inconvenience the next client or lose my needed transition
time.
Gift Certificates
Please let me know at the time of booking your appointment if you’re using a gift certificate,
thanks!
Cost
Initial naturopathic appointments are $165. Follow up appointments are $75 per half hour.
Payment
I accept checks, cash and credit cards. Receipts are available. Payment is expected at time of
service.
Insurance
Naturopathic clients will be given a coded super bill for insurance submission. Check with your
insurance carrier to see if your policy covers naturopathic treatment. Payment is required at
time of service. Massage is not typically covered by insurance unless you have a workman's
compensation claim or motor vehicle accident and massage was prescribed by your doctor.

Synthia Andrews has been in the world of wholisitic health for over 25 years as a massage and bodywork
practioner. Her work has focused on the relief of pain and the resolution of underlying mechanical,
metabolic, emotional and/or traumatic causes. She now providers naturopathic services for the natural
treatment of metabolic, hormonal, and immune system imbalance.
Synthia maintaines a private practice and teaches classes and workshops. She was a faculty member at
the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy from 1991 to 2005. She has co-authored three books and
contributed to journal articles. She currently teaches workshops at the Kripalu Yoga Institute and is an
authorized teacher of the Jin Shin Do® Foundation.
